Local Design Showroom Participates in Bucks Show House LAHASKA, PA–Elizabeth Maurer, owner of Liquid Stone, will be a design participant in the 34th annual Bucks County Designer House & Gardens taking place May 3 to May 31, 2009 at Upper Mountain Farm 2101 Street Road Solebury, PA. Liquid Stone will be collaborating with The Fabric Loft and Olde World Painting, to transform the master bathroom into an eco-friendly space using recycled and sustainable products such as concrete, fabric & clay products. In conjunction with this annual event, Liquid Stone, The Fabric Loft, and Olde World Painting will be hosting a series of design-related events at their Lahaska Showroom. Showroom is located at: Calender of Events May 6th, 1:00 - 3:00 Meet one time designer, Linda Arye, now the founder of Quilts for Kids and hear her story of how a piece of fabric changed the course of her life. Discover the fun of quilting, join a chapter or volunteer to help children in need in our community. May 8th, 3:30 - 5:30 Meet the editor, Bob Waite & a contributing author, Beth Buxbaum, of this local magazine. Get the inside scoop on how a feature house is chosen for publication. May 13th, 1:00 - 3:00 Come to our showroom and see the latest in Decorative Concrete Designs, eco-friendly paints, 100% recycled polyester fabrics, and many more sustainable products for your home. May 15th & 16th, All Day Join us under a tent draped in sheer fabrics and outdoor furniture, where we will be grilling & chilling with beer and wine tasting and discussing organic gardening tips. May 20th, 1:00 - 3:00 Learn all the techniques and applications of decorative trim. We will show you how to embellish pillows and draperies with luscious trimmings and tassels. Come in and receive a free gift. May 22, 1:00 - 3:00 On display in our showroom we will have fabrics, bedding, clothing, candles and other resources made of organic materials.
